NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has brought online a 75.5 MW part capacity of the 1,255 MW Khavda-I solar PV project in Gujarat. The project falls under Phase II Tranche III of the Central Public Sector Undertaking programme. With this addition, NGEL’s total installed capacity has risen to 7,639.07 MW.
Earlier in October 2025, NGEL inked MoU with Paradip Port Authority to develop and implement green hydrogen-based mobility projects in the Paradip Port area.
Furthermore, in the same month, NGEL commissioned 9.9 MW part capacity of its 92.4 MW wind project located in Bhuj, Gujarat.
