BiofuelCircle raises $0.75 million in seed funding

BiofuelCircle, a digital platform for green fuels based in Pune, has raised $0.75 million in its second round of seed funding. The funding round was led by various financiers including Spectrum Impact, Better Capital. The company now plans to launch operations in north India by the end of 2022 and widen its digital toolkit.

According to the company’s press release, since its inception in 2020, the company has raised $ 1.75 million. The company has built a farm-to-fuel ecosystem which is presently active in Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Tamil Nadu.

BiofuelCircle is an online marketplace dedicated exclusively to biomass and biofuels. It aims to establish a dependable digital platform as well as an organised physical ecosystem for stakeholders in India’s bioenergy supply chain.
