Agastya Energy and Infrastructure announces Rs 5.66 billion preferential issue

Agastya Energy and Infrastructure Limited, a part of the Anubhav Agarwal Group, has announced that its board of directors has approved a preferential issue of equity shares and convertible warrants, aggregating up to approximately Rs 5.66 billion. The proposed capital raise is expected to strengthen the company’s financial position and support its long-term growth plans across the energy and infrastructure sectors.

In August 2026, Agastya Green Energy Limited, part of the Anubhav Agarwal Group, announced an expansion into integrated 12 GW ingot and wafer manufacturing at the Orvakal Industrial Area in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves an investment of approximately Rs 78 billion. 

In June 2026, Agastya Green Fuels Private Limited executed a long-term green methanol offtake agreement with SAR Maritime Agencies for the supply of 250 kilo tonnes per annum of EU RFNBO RED III-compliant green methanol. The green methanol will be supplied from Agastya Green Fuels’ hub at Mulapeta Port in Andhra Pradesh.
