Premier Energies Limited has inaugurated a 5.6 GW solar module manufacturing facility at Seetharampur in Rangareddy, Telangana. The facility is equipped with G12R TOPCon module manufacturing lines and includes a zero bus bar manufacturing unit, along with automated guided vehicle-based material movement and artificial intelligence-based quality inspection systems.
With the commissioning of the new facility, Premier Energies’ total solar module manufacturing capacity has increased to 11.1 GW. The company also held the groundbreaking ceremony for a 6 GWh battery energy storage system manufacturing facility and an aluminium frames plant with a production capacity of 18,000 metric tonnes per annum at the same campus.
Earlier, in April 2026, Premier Energies Limited completed the second and final tranche of the strategic acquisition of equity shares in Transcon Ind Limited. The company acquired 52,073 equity shares of Transcon Ind allotted on a preferential basis through private placement.
