KPI Green secures financing for 150 MW wind project in Gujarat

KPI Green Energy Limited has secured Rs 9.79 billion in sanction from Canara Bank for its 150 MW wind power project in Gujarat. The sanction includes Rs 9.31 billion as a fresh rupee term loan and Rs 0.48 billion as a bank guarantee. The total project cost is estimated at Rs 12.41 billion, to be financed through a debt-equity structure of 75:25, with the sanctioned term loan covering the debt portion.

Furthermore, the 150 MW wind project is backed by 25-year long-term power purchase agreements with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited. It is part of KPI Energy’s expanding independent power producer portfolio.

Earlier in January 2026, KPI Green Energy Limited began generating and supplying power from its 200 MWac/240 MWdc grid-connected solar power project in Khavda.

Furthermore, in December 2025, KPI Green Energy Limited secured a work order worth approximately Rs 4.89 billion from Gujarat State Electricity Corporation for the engineering, procurement, and construction of a 142 MWp/110 MWac floating solar photovoltaic project.
