Cleantech Solar has entered into a second long-term agreement with Coats Group plc for a rooftop solar project in Indonesia. As per the agreement, Cleantech Solar will develop and operate a rooftop solar project at Coats Rejo Indonesia’s facility in Pasuruan, East Java. Once operational, the combined project will allow Coats to replace 17.3 per cent of its total electricity consumption with renewable energy.
In May 2025, Cleantech Solar commissioned approximately 80 MWp of open access solar projects for industrial clients at its 275 MWp solar park in Tamil Nadu. The projects supply captive renewable power for manufacturing operations. The client base includes firms such as First Solar, DCW, and Murugappa Morgan Thermal Ceramics.
