Metafin raises Rs 840 million to support solar projects for rural MSMEs

Metafin has raised Rs 840 million through a structured debt facility from global credit provider Lendable. The funds will be used to expand access to affordable solar solutions, especially for small businesses and enterprises in rural India.

Furthermore, with the help of such initiatives, Metafin aims to aid rural businesses and households to shift away from diesel-based energy by providing reliable and cost-effective solar power. Metafin is a solar financing platform focused on rural micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and households.

Earlier in April 2025, Metafin raised Rs 840 million in a Series A funding round comprising both equity and debt to strengthen its technology, credit, and service infrastructure, while expanding its reach into new states.
