China based Jiangsu Guofu Hydrogen Energy Equipment Company Limited has entered into a tripartite supply cooperation agreement with BTE and Hylium for the development of a 10 MW-class data centre power generation demonstration project in the North American market. Under the agreement, Jiangsu Guofu Hydrogen Energy will undertake the design, manufacturing, and supply of a natural gas reforming hydrogen production system package for the project.
Furthermore, Hylium and BTE will take responsibility for other project components. Hylium will handle the engineering system required for project delivery to the customer, while BTE will manage the power generation system associated with the project. Furthermore, the project aims to address increasing power supply challenges faced by the global data centre industry and support the green and sustainable energy requirements for the development of artificial intelligence and cloud computing infrastructure.
In January 2026, Jiangsu Guofu Hydrogen Energy signed a cooperation agreement with Line Hydrogen (Australia) Pty Ltd. The cooperation involves jointly advancing the Tasmanian hydrogen project in Australia and supplying core equipment, including water electrolysis hydrogen production systems, hydrogen refuelling stations, and multi-element gas containers. Additionally, the agreement includes installation and commissioning, technical training, and operations and maintenance services.
