Crédit Agricole finances 385 MWp solar portfolio in France

Crédit Agricole CIB and Crédit Agricole Transitions & Énergies, together with other group banks, have co-arranged a structured financing package worth approximately €400 million for GreenYellow. The funding will support the rollout of a large portfolio of solar projects across France. The financing will enable the development of more than 350 solar plants primarily on parking carports, with a combined installed capacity of around 385 MWp.

The portfolio is expected to generate close to 480 GWh of electricity annually, This is equivalent to the yearly power consumption of a city with around 200,000 residents. Moreover, the projects will be deployed over a three-year period and will combine both grid-connected and self-consumption systems built on existing infrastructure, avoiding additional land use.

In January 2026, Crédit Agricole CIB acted as mandated lead arranger in a €1.8 billion financing for NeXtWind’s onshore wind platform in Germany, The five-year deal will support a shift from single-asset financing to a scalable platform model, backing NeXtWind’s portfolio of 500 MW across 37 sites and a development pipeline exceeding 1.9 GW.
