Envision Energy has entered into a wind turbine supply agreement with REE Group for nearshore wind projects with a combined capacity of 128 MW in Vietnam’s Vinh Long province. The portfolio includes the V1-3 Phase II project with 48 MW capacity and the V1-5 and V1-6 Phase II projects totaling 80 MW. The projects will deploy 16 EN-226/8.X MW offshore wind turbines.
Construction of both projects is scheduled to begin simultaneously. Full grid connectivity for the projects is targeted by October 2026. The project sites record average wind speeds above 7 metres per second. These projects are among the first approved under Vietnam’s Power Development Plan VIII and are reportedly the first in the country to deploy large-rotor, high-capacity offshore wind turbines. Envision Energy will apply offshore wind design and engineering standards to address Vietnam’s high-humidity and high-salt-spray operating conditions.
In January 2026, Envision Energy signed agreements with Casa dos Ventos to supply 630 MW of its 8.x MW Galileo AI wind turbines. Additionally, the companies also signed a 30-year long-term service contract for a large wind project in Brazil.
