The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has floated a tender for a balance of system (BoS) package of a 700 MW solar project in Gujarat. According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work covers the turnkey execution of the BoS package for the project. This includes the design and engineering of the project, as well as the procurement and supply of all required equipment and materials.
Furthermore, the bidders are required to submit an earnest money deposit of Rs 330.5 million. The successful bidder must submit a contract performance security equal to 10 per cent of the contract value for the first stage covering supply and services. The security must remain valid for 82 months, including 19 months for project commissioning, 60 months for operations and maintenance, and an additional three months. The bid submission deadline is January 29, 2026.
Earlier in December 2025, SECI issued a tender for the development of 1,000 MW/8,000 MWh of pumped-storage projects under the PSP-I programme for on-demand use.
