Ahasolar Technologies has been awarded a contract to provide engineering and project management consultancy services for an 875 MW solar power project by CIL Rajasthan Akshay Urja Limited. The project is situated at Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited’s (RRVUNL)2,000 MW solar park in Rajasthan.
The scope of work includes supporting the construction and commissioning of the solar project. This will involve reviewing, checking, and approving the drawings and documents of the engineering, procurement, and construction contractor. It also includes reviewing the bill of materials, construction and erection schedules, and QA/QC documentation, including manufacturing and site quality plans as well as test procedures.
Furthermore, the work is estimated to cost Rs 11.8 million. Moreover, the contract duration is 18 months from the date of receipt of the work order.
Earlier in June 2025, Coal India Limited formed a joint venture with RRVUNL to establish a new subsidiary named CIL Rajasthan Akshay Urja Limited.
