Kannan Krishnan’s career spans over three decades, anchored by an electrical engineering degree from the University of Madras. His operational acumen and strategic leadership, earlier in his career, were instrumental during his tenure as the former chief operating officer for solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and operations and maintenance (O&M) at Sterling & Wilson, where he played a pivotal role in the company’s successful IPO.
Under his leadership, Jakson Green has rapidly emerged as a prominent energy transition platform globally. Beyond his corporate achievements, Krishnan demonstrates a passionate commitment to entrepreneurship and sustainability, having founded start-ups such as EnergxIQ and Vocuni.
For Krishnan, the most exciting aspect of his current role is being at the forefront of building India’s clean energy future. He is energised by the opportunity to develop solutions that enable sustainable growth, decarbonise industries and transform concepts into massive renewable resources. The process of executing GW-scale solar parks or pioneering green hydrogen and ammonia projects adds meaning to Krishnan’s daily activities.
