SJVN has announced the results of its interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected 600 MW wind power auction. KPI Green, Urdhvaga, and Adyant have secured 300 MW, 120 MW, and 110 MW, respectively. The companies quoted a tariff of Rs 3.64 per kWh each to secure the respective capacities. Furthermore, Lambent Energy secured 70 MW out of the 180 MW quoted under the bucket-filling method. It quoted a tariff of Rs 3.65 per kWh to secure the capacity.
According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work includes the development of wind projects, along with the establishment of the transmission network up to the interconnection or delivery point. It also covers the installation and upkeep of a GPS-enabled automatic weather station. Furthermore, the power generated from these projects will be sold to the Punjab State Power Corporation or other purchasing entities. The tender was floated in September 2025.
Earlier in February 2026, SJVN announced the result of its 250 MW/500 MWh standalone battery energy storage system auction in which Hardi Hydro Energy emerged as the successful bidder to set up the project at the 1,360 MW Panipat thermal power station in Haryana. The company secured the capacity at a tariff of Rs 197,000 per MW per month.
