Pace Digitek has secured an order from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for the supply of a 600 MW/1,200 MWh standalone grid-connected battery energy storage system (BESS) in Andhra Pradesh.
The scope of work covers the design and engineering of the entire BESS along with all its associated components. It includes the supply of BESS direct-current (DC) blocks integrated with heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and a fire protection system. Additionally, the scope extends to the provision of the power conversion system (PCS), battery management system (BMS), and energy management system (EMS).
Furthermore, Pace Digitek is required to integrate the BMS and EMS with the PCS and complete the cabling between the BESS DC blocks and the PCS. The company will also be responsible for testing and commissioning the entire BESS, including the batteries, PCS, and EMS. Additionally, Pace Digitek will be responsible for providing complete maintenance of the entire system for a period of ten years from the date of commissioning. The total value of the order is around Rs 11.59 billion. The tender was floated in August 2025.
Earlier in July 2025, Pace Digitek commissioned a BESS manufacturing facility through its subsidiary Lineage Power Private Limited.
