Envision Energy has commenced production for its 2 GW/PA blade manufacturing plant at Kalyangadh in Bavla Taluka, Gujarat. The plant will manufacture up to 1,500 blades per annum using six moulds. It will produce blades for 3.3 MW and 5 MW wind turbine platforms.
Furthermore, the facility will support over 4 GW of wind projects across more than 10 sites in five districts of Gujarat. It will also generate approximately 4,00 direct and indirect jobs by mid-2027, once it becomes fully operational.
Earlier in June 2025, Envision Energy India’s wind turbine model EN-182/5.0 50 Hz TC received approval under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s Revised List of Models and Manufacturers, which has now been renamed as the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (Wind).
