ACME Solar Holdings Limited has bagged Rs 11 billion domestic financing from the State Bank of India (SBI). The company will utilisie these funds to refinance the existing debt of its 300 MW renewable energy project in Rajasthan. The project has an operational track record of six months with a consistent capacity utilisation factor.
Moreover, the refinancing is expected to reduce the project’s financing cost by around 100 basis points. Additionally, SBI has provided the funds for a tenure of nearly 17 years.
Earlier in September 2025, Acme Solar Holdings executed a share purchase agreement to completely acquire equity shares of AK Renewable Infra. The transaction has an enterprise value of Rs 792.5 million.
Furthermore, in the same month, ACME Venus Urja Private Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Limited, obtained Rs 38.92 billion in project funding from the SBI for the development and construction of a 400 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy project situated in Rajasthan.
