Kshema Power secures Rs 1.08 billion transmission line project in Andhra Pradesh

Kshema Power has secured a Rs 1.08 billion contract for the construction of a 400 kV transmission line in Andhra Pradesh. The project entails building a 42-kilometre transmission line in the Ananthapuram district of Andhra Pradesh to transmit power from a 1 GW wind farm. It will feature a single-circuit line installed on double-circuit towers to ensure efficient and reliable power delivery.

Furthermore, the scope of work entails the full project lifecycle, including design approval, material procurement, civil works, and tower erection. It also includes regulatory clearances, testing, and final commissioning. The scope also covers deploying specialised teams for smooth project execution.
