Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited has secured a letter of empanelment (LoE) from Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) for the design, manufacture, supply, installation, and commissioning of off-grid direct and alternate current solar photovoltaic water pumping systems (SPWPS).
Furthermore, the order includes systems with capacities of 2 horse power (HP), 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP to be implemented across Madhya Pradesh under the PM Krishak Mitra Surya Yojana. The contract is valued at approximately Rs 42.4 million, with execution to be completed within 60 days from the issuance of the work order.
Earlier in July 2025, Crompton Greaves secured a letter of award from the Maharashtra Energy Development Agency for the supply and installation of 4,500 off-grid SPWPS.
