TrueRE Oriana Power has inked a long-term green ammonia purchase agreement (GAPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI). The GAPA covers the supply of 60,000 tonnes per annum of green ammonia at a discovered price of Rs 52.25 per kg. The total contract is valued at around Rs 31.35 billion and will be executed over a period of 10 years. The development follows a letter of award received by TrueRE Oriana Power in August 2025.
Furthermore, the corresponding green ammonia sale agreement has also been inked between SECI and Madhya Bharat Agro Products Limited, which is the offtaker. The project is located in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, and will be developed by TrueRE Oriana Power. The company will oversee the entire execution process, including project development, regulatory approvals, and land clearances.
Earlier in March 2026, TrueRE Oriana Power Limited secured three fixed-price engineering, procurement, and construction contract orders for the development of ground-mounted solar projects with a total capacity of 32 MW, along with battery energy storage systems of 20 MWh.
