Adani Wind bags wind turbine order from FPEL

Adani Wind, the wind energy manufacturing arm of Adani New Industries Limited, has won a 165 MW order from Fourth Partner Energy Limited (FPEL) to supply wind turbines for FPEL’s upcoming wind energy projects. The wind projects are spread across the states of Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Gujarat.

As part of the order, Adani Wind will deliver 50 wind turbine generators (WTG) from Adani’s 3.3 MW platform. The WTGs will have a rotor diameter of 164 meters and a hub height of 140 meters. Furthermore, the scope of delivery for the company entails ex-works supply of nacelles, hubs, drivetrains, blade sets, and towers. The scope also includes supervision for foundation work, commissioning, and long-term operations and maintenance.

Earlier in June 2025, Adani Group commissioned a 5 MW off-grid green hydrogen pilot plant in Kutch, Gujarat.
