Juniper secures Rs 17.39 billion debt financing

Juniper Green Energy (Juniper) has received Rs 17.39 billion in debt financing from the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA). The financing will be utilised to promote the growth and development of Juniper and its subsidiaries.

Furthermore, the financing will facilitate the execution of large-scale renewable energy projects and enhance the company’s operational capabilities. Moreover, the debt financing follows Juniper’s $1 billion debt raise achieved earlier in 2024. This was secured from IREDA along with other financial institutions such as Power Finance Corporation Limited, DBS Bank, and HSBC Bank.

Earlier this month, Juniper, through its subsidiary Juniper Green Beam Private Limited, commissioned 25 MW of wind power capacity out of its 50 MW wind power project.
