Tata Power Skill Development Institute (TPSDI) has launched a green energy skill centre in the national capital. The centre will provide training in renewable energy technologies such as solar photovoltaic systems, including installation, commissioning, operations and maintenance , as well as energy storage, pumped hydro storage, and electrical safety.
The centre will be operated by TPSDI in Rohini, New Delhi. Furthermore, TPSDI has created courses by blending the standards of the National Skills Qualification Framework and NCVT-approved Qualification Packs. The offerings of the institute align with the priorities of the nation, like the PM Surya Ghar Yojana under MNRE’s skilling framework.
TPSDI is an institute of excellence in energy sector training. It offers more than 200 modular courses across green energy, safety, transmission and distribution, power systems, and soft skills. It has conducted training across over 43 locations, including in Bhutan, Ethiopia, and Liberia.
