ACME Solar Holdings, through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Urja One, has inked a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). The agreement is for a 190 MW wind-solar hybrid project with assured peak power supply. Furthermore, the grid connectivity for the solar, wind, and battery energy storage system (BESS) components has been secured.
The project forms part of a total 380 MW capacity, of which a PPA has already been secured for the initial 190 MW. Additionally, the PPA mandates a minimum annual capacity utilisation factor (CUF) of 50 per cent and requires 80 per cent of the daily peak power demand to be met. As part of an existing sanctioned Phase II project, the project has been financed by Power Finance Corporation Limited.
Earlier this month, ACME Solar Holdings Limited secured a letter of award from Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited for the development of a 220 MW solar power project integrated with a BESS.
