SUNOTEC acquires SIA DSE Lazas Solar from Danish Sun Energy 

SUNOTEC has acquired 100 per cent share capital in the SIA DSE Lazas Solar from Danish Sun Energy ApS to build a new PV solar power plant. The plant has a total capacity of 400 MWp with a storage capacity of 600 MWh battery storage. The project is located in Cīrava Rural Territory, Lazas parish, Dienvidkurzeme Municipality, and is expected to be commissioned in March 2027.

The project’s first phase received ready-to-build permit earlier in June 2025, and the construction phase is expected to begin by the end of 2025. Furthermore, the project will be built by SUNOTEC, while Danish Sun Energy ApS will provide development of all the necessary permits and licenses along with comprehensive design and engineering solutions. The total cost of the project is estimated to be €245 million.

Earlier in June 2025, Solaris Holding AD, the joint venture between SUNOTEC and the principal shareholders of Eurohold Bulgaria AD commissioned the Selanovtsi hybrid photovoltaic power plant in Bulgaria. The plant is equipped with an installed capacity of 59.8 MWp and an integrated battery energy storage system of 107.3 MWh.
