NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) has commissioned solar projects with a cumulative capacity of 409 MW across various solar parks. These include the commissioning of 120 MW of solar capacity at the Shajapur solar project (Unit-II) in Madhya Pradesh. With this, the entire 220 MW capacity of the Shajapur solar project is now fully commercially operational.
Additionally, NTPC REL has commissioned 142.2 MW of its 300 MW Khavda solar project located in Bhuj. Furthermore, the company has also commenced the commercial operation for a 146.7 MW unit of its 1,255 MW Khavda-I solar project.
In June 2025, NTPC Limited deployed five hydrogen fuel cell buses for commercial operations in Leh, Ladakh.
