Juniper Green Energy commissions 145.99 MWp solar project in Maharashtra

Juniper Green Energy Limited has announced the commissioning of a 145.99 MWp solar power project in Chapalgaon village, Maharashtra. The project will supply power to Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited.

Moreover, the project was reportedly completed 19 months ahead of its scheduled commercial operation date. This commissioning took place just two and a half months after the power purchase agreement was signed in March 2025. The early commissioning was a result of various factors like early land acquisition, timely site development, technical and environmental due diligence, securing grid connection permits, and readiness of transmission infrastructure.

In May 2025, Juniper Green Energy Limited contracted Sungrow to supply 835 MW of high-efficiency photovoltaic inverters, including 300 kW SG320HX-20 string inverters and 4.4 MW SG4400UD-20 central inverters.
