Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL) has secured multiple domestic projects, including a 127 MW AC hybrid wind-solar project and a separate solar project in Rajasthan. The hybrid wind-solar project in Rajasthan marks the company’s entry into wind engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC).
The scope of work involves the development of a 69.3 MW AC wind balance-of-plant and a 58 MW AC/75 MWp DC solar balance-of-system, along with a 132 kV/33 kV pooling substation. Furthermore, SWREL has secured a letter of award for a separate solar photovoltaic plant in Rajasthan from a domestic private-sector power producer.
Additionally, the company also has been selected as the lowest bidder for a 200 MW AC (260 MWp DC) solar project in Gujarat, which is being developed by a leading public-sector entity.The combined value of these projects, including taxes and an operation and maintenance contract, stands at Rs 14.7 billion.
