L&T Energy GreenTech and John Cockerill sign MoU to collaborate on clean energy solutions

L&T Energy GreenTech Limited (LTEGL), a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, has signed a MoU with John Cockerill to explore collaboration in concentrated solar power (CSP) and thermal energy storage (TES) technologies. The partnership will focus on manufacturing, component supply, and engineering solutions to support CSP and TES projects.

Furthermore, the agreement also aims to accelerate the deployment of green, round-the-clock power solutions in India by combining LTEGL’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities with John Cockerill’s expertise in CSP and TES.

LTEGL operates across the green energy sector, focusing on green hydrogen, its derivatives, and electrolyser manufacturing. It focuses on its development, manufacturing, and engineering, procurement, and construction. While, John Cockerill develops technologies for renewable electricity production, energy storage, and industrial performance optimisation. Its portfolio includes heat recovery steam generators, CSP plant receivers, industrial boilers, and integrated systems for green electricity production and storage.
