The Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana (TGNPDCL) has floated two tenders for a combined 3 MW ground-mounted solar power projects in Karimnagar and Sircilla districts. The last date of bid submission is December 12, 2024. The project in Karimnagar has a 1 MW generation capacity and the one in Sircilla will be 2 MW.
The scope of work involves the supply, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the projects on a 100 per cent turnkey basis. The developer will also be responsible for the operation and maintenance for five years. The bidders have to supply half-cut mono PERC cells with a warranty for minimum 12 years and module efficiency being greater than 20.9 per cent. The bid capacity cannot be less than the estimated contract value (ECV) or value of work put to tender. The project has a timeline of six months for completion.
According to the tender guidelines, the bidders have to submit a bid security of 2 per cent of the bid amount and a transaction fee of 0.03 per cent on ECV up to Rs 500 million excluding GST. The successful bidder will have to furnish 0.04 per cent of ECV, maximum Rs 10,000 as a corpus fund.
For the 1 MW project to be developed in Waterworks, Karimnagar district, the bidders have to be empaneled vendors of Telangana Renewable Energy Development Corporation (REDCO)/ TGNPDCL with a minimum experience of 0.50 MW cumulative capacity of solar projects installed at government buildings/subsidy schemes in the last three financial years and have a minimum annual turnover of Rs 30 million in at least one of the last three financial years.
For the 2 MW project in CESS Boinpally, Sircilla district Bidders must be empaneled vendors of REDCO/ TGNPDCL with a minimum experience of 1 MW cumulative capacity of solar projects installed at government buildings/subsidy programs in the last three financial years and have a minimum annual turnover of Rs 60 million in at least one of the last three financial years.
