Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RRECL) has floated a tender to set up 282 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) projects. The solar PV projects will be set up on various state government buildings in different locations in Rajasthan. The last date for bid submission is November 26, 2024.
The scope of work includes design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of the project. The developer will also be responsible for operation and maintenance (O&M) for 25 years from the date of commissioning of the rooftop solar PV projects.
According to the tender guidelines, the bidders have to submit Rs 5,900 as bid document fees, Rs 2,500 as processing fee and a bank guarantee of Rs 870,000 per MW of the quoted capacity. The developers also have to submit a bid security. Small scale industries located in Rajasthan have to pay Rs 217,000 per MW and others have to submit Rs 435,000 per MW. The winning bidder will have to submit a bank guarantee of three per cent of order value. The bidders must have a net worth of 6 million per MW and average annual turnover not less than Rs 10 million per MW.
Furthermore, the project must be completed within 12 months from receipt of the letter of award. The minimum and maximum bid capacity is 5 MWp and 100 MWp, respectively. Minimum bid capacity in any district cannot be less than 5 MW.
