Solitek, a Lithuanian solar module manufacturer, has unveiled the M40 glass-glass monocrystalline panel, featuring a power output of 235 W and light transmittance of 40 per cent. The M40 has a power conversion efficiency of 12.6 per cent and can operate at a maximum system voltage of 1,500 V. It is designed for usage in greenhouses. It has a 26.60 V open circuit voltage and an 11.01 A short circuit current. The solar panel measures 30 kg in weight and is 1,770 x 1,049 x 7.1 mm. Both the front and rear glass are 3 mm thick. The power temperature coefficient is -0.47 per cent per degree Celsius, and the operating temperatures range from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. A 30-year linear power output guarantee and a 30-year product guarantee are included with the product. Its output is guaranteed for 30 years at 87 per cent of its original efficiency.
