India’s Offshore Wind Development
There has been a surge in offshore wind project development and tendering across the globe. With the ongoing natural gas crisis, various countries are focusing on extensive offshore wind capacity additions to ensure energy security. India, however, has not witnessed much development in this growing space although a policy was announced way back in 2016 and an EoI released in 2018.
