Solarium Green Energy commissions 1 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Gujarat

Solarium Green Energy has commissioned a fully automated 1 GW solar module manufacturing plant in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Built at an estimated cost of Rs 900 million, the facility will produce large-format crystalline silicon G12 modules of up to 725 Wp using TOPCon and half-cut cell technologies, along with bifacial modules.

The modules will be produced using high-precision imported equipment, including tabbers, stringers, laminators, and sun simulators. Production at the plant facility will be used to meet captive requirements and supply external customers, including other EPC companies and the broader B2B market.

The modules will be manufactured using high-precision imported equipment, including tabbers, stringers, laminators, and sun simulators. The output from the facility will cater to both internal requirements and external demand, supplying other engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) companies as well as the wider business-to-business market.

Earlier in July 2025, Solarium Green Energy was awarded two EPC contracts by NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited for the development of grid-connected rooftop solar projects across various sites in the Northeastern states.
