NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) has floated a tender for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a 250 MW solar project. The solar project also includes a 50 MW/200 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS).
According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work includes the design, engineering, manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning of the project. The scope also covers providing three-year operations and maintenance (O&M) services for the solar project and 15-year O&M services for the BESS.
Furthermore, the developers also need to carry out site levelling, grading, vegetation clearing, topographical survey, and geotechnical investigation. The successful bidders need to develop the extra-high-voltage switchyard.
Additionally, the bidders are required to furnish a bid security of Rs 200 million. The bid submission deadline is February 6, 2026.
