SJVN reports net profit of Rs 4.39 billion in the second quarter of 2024-25

SJVN Limited has reported a net profit of Rs 4.399 billion for the quarter ending September 2024, reflecting an increase from Rs 4.396 billion recorded in the same period last year. The company’s total income has increased by approximately 16 per cent to Rs 11.08 billion for the quarter ending September 2024, from Rs 9.52 billion in the corresponding period of the previous year. The company’s expenses increased significantly to Rs 5.28 billion from Rs 3.98 billion in Q2 FY2024. They also saw an increase of 17.3 per cent YoY in earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) to Rs 8.28 billion. Their topline increased by 16.6 per cent YoY to Rs 10.26 billion.

In November 2024, SJVN announced the results of its auction for 1,200 MW of Interstate Transmission System (ISTS)-connected wind-solar hybrid power projects in India (Phase III). The winners were Gentari Renewables India Utilities 2, Juniper Green Energy, EG Energy Development (Enfinity Global), Sunsure Solarpark RJ One, and Adyant Enersol (Datta Infra).

In October 2024, SJVN Green Energy floated a tender for the design, engineering, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of solar projects of a cumulative capacity of 700 MW (100 MWx7 plots) at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat.
