Jakson Green plans to invest Rs 35 billion through private equity investors and non-recourse financing to enhance its renewable energy portfolio. The investment will focus on solar utility projects and the development of green hydrogen, methanol, and ethanol. The company has installed solar project capacity of 5 GWp globally, including 1 GWp of directly owned assets.
In March 2024, Jakson Green signed its first power purchase agreement with Solar Energy Corporation of India for a utility-scale solar project.
In February 2024, Jakson Green entered into its first 25 year power purchase agreement with Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Limited for a 100 MW solar photovoltaic plant in Rajasthan.
