Sunkind Energy, a company specialising in solar EPC solutions, has won contracts for five solar rooftop projects totaling 10 MW. The projects will be set up across various states including Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh. The solar rooftop projects will be installed by the company for Cedaar Textiles, ABREL Solar Power, Jindal Stainless Limited, Jindal Steel and Power Limited, and SBF Rapid (TMT).
Founded in 2019, Sunkind Energy is evolving into a utility-scale developer, with a focus on investing in long-term power purchase agreements and utility-scale projects. The company is establishing its own solar panel manufacturing line, scheduled to begin production in 2025. Additionally, it is involved in solar park development projects in Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and Haryana.
