Solitek unveils residential lithium-ion battery

Solitek has made its foray into the residential battery market by introducing a line of lithium-ion phosphate batteries. Each NOVA battery module claims to have a capacity of 5 kWh, and operates at a nominal voltage of 51.2 V, weighing 85.9 kg. The company offers a selection of compatible single-phase and three-phase hybrid inverters, ranging from 5 kW to 12 kW in capacity, facilitating seamless integration with solar PV installations. It provides a 10-year warranty, reportedly guaranteeing 60 per cent end-of-life performance.

This Lithuanian firm manufactures its battery product line at a factory with a current capacity of 350 MWh, and plans to expand to 1 GWh capacity. The product is equipped with a battery management software, which was developed in-house and is enabled with Wi-Fi for remote management and maintenance. The remote monitoring can be done via the Solitek app.
