Hero Future Energies and SJVN have inked a power purchase agreement (PPA) to establish a 120 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project. To be located in Andhra Pradesh, the project is scheduled to be commissioned within 24 months.
The project endeavors to deliver a consistent power supply to distribution companies during peak hours in the morning and evening. By providing cost-effective, long-term power solutions, the initiative not only addresses escalating energy requirements but also aids in grid stabilisation.
In January 2024, Hero Future Energies and PIXON Green Energy revealed the signing of a key tolling agreement, pertaining to the delivery of solar photovoltaic modules.
