Growatt has introduced its latest microinverter series, the NEO 2000M-X, which has a 2 kW full power output, four MPP trackers, and a maximum efficiency of 96.5 per cent. Reportedly, the NEO 2000M-X combines impressive versatility and efficiency. In order to maximise the performance of each solar panel independently under various conditions, it transforms direct current to alternating current (AC) at the panel level. Even if one panel is shaded or damaged, the other solar panels will remain unaffected. Furthermore, the NEO 2000M-X supports the use of 600 W+ solar panels with string currents of up to 15 A. This compact device measures 388 x 301 x 38 mm and has a weight of only 4.7 kg, allowing for easier installation and transportation. In order to reduce the possibility of an arc-fault circuit and PID, the NEO 2000M-X runs at lower roof voltages (maximum 60 V). In case of a fault, it can shut down instantly. It features IP67 protection and Type III SPD on the AC side, ensuring resilience in harsh conditions. The microinverter offers two convenient communication choices, Wi-Fi and Radio-frequency.
