KPI Green Energy Limited has been awarded a letter of award (LoA) for a 22.26 MWp solar power project. The company has bagged the project from Aditya Birla Renewable Energy Limited. The project will be located in Gujarat and falls under the company’s captive power producer business segment.
KPI Green Energy will be responsible for providing a range of services, including design, engineering, procurement, supply, transportation, arranging comprehensive insurance, construction, testing, commissioning and operationalisation. Furthermore, the engineering, procurement, and construction contract encompasses the execution of a performance acceptance test and facility acceptance test, as well as securing permits and approvals for the solar power generator. The EPC contract serves as the balance of system for the project. The project is expected to be commissioned by 2024.
In August 2023, KPI Green Energy Limited emerged as a winner for grid-connected solar PV project of 200 MW (AC) in Gujarat. In December 2022, KPI Green Energy Limited bagged a new order for the execution of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of a solar captive power project of 33 MW capacity.
