Charge+Zone and M&M collaborate for setting up charging infrastructure

Charge+Zone, an electric vehicle charging network and Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) have announced their collaboration to build a network of EV charging stations for Mahindra’s upcoming electric SUVs. According to the company, Mahindra’s EV users will have access to the Charge+Zone network of more than 2,500 charging points across 25 cities and 10,000 km of highways by the end of this financial year. Both companies will be investigating the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fast DC chargers at various locations, including owned and rented sites, offices, or any other areas nominated by M&M, its affiliates, and group companies.

In addition, the company stated that the collaboration will include the deployment of e-mobility solutions spanning discovery, availability, navigation, and transactions, allowing all EV users to seamlessly access the charging network. These charging stations are designed to charge electric four wheelers and will be available to the general public as well as Mahindra users and partners.

Recently in October 2022, M&M and Jio-bp announced the expansion of their existing collaboration. Jio-bp will be establishing a charging network for M&M’s upcoming e-SUV launches. Also, Jio-bp will install DC fast chargers across M&M dealership networks and workshops across the country starting off with 16 cities.
