Waaree Energies Limited has partnered with Ecofy, a non-banking finance company supported by Eversource Capital, to offer affordable financing for homeowners and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) installing rooftop solar (RTS) systems. Ecofy has invested Rs 1 billion into the partnership.
The collaboration will help the government meet its goal under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana 2024 by utilising the solar expertise of Waaree Energies and the digital finance innovations of Ecofy to expedite the solarisation of over 10,000 rooftops across homes and MSMEs.
Recently, in April 2024, Waaree Energies Limited secured a letter of intent for a 400 MW solar modules supply.
