NTPC floats tender for 21 MW solar project in Madhya Pradesh

NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited has called for domestic bids for setting up a cumulative 21 MW (AC) grid-connected solar capacity in Madhya Pradesh. It is planning to develop this capacity that will comprise two projects of 10.5 MW each. The project will be established for Bhopal Municipal Corporation in the Neemuch district.

The scope of work for the successful contractor comprises PV plant design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, erection, testing, and commissioning. Additionally, the successful bidder will also provide three years of operations and maintenance support. To be eligible, the bidder’s average annual turnover during the last three financial years shall not be less than Rs 1,620.95 million. The project will take about 12 months for completion after the contract is awarded.

Recently in October 2022, NTPC issued a request for proposals to build a 10-temperature programmed desorption methanol synthesis plant at its Vindhyachal facility in Uttar Pradesh based on a design submitted by TOYO, a Japanese hydrocarbon and petrochemical engineering company.
