The winners of the Solar Energy Corporation of India’s (SECI) auction to develop 1,200 MW ISTS-connected wind-solar hybrid projects (Tranche-V) across India are Tata Power, Amp Energy, NTPC, and SJVN. With a quoted tariff of Rs 2.53 per kWh, Tata power won a capacity of 600 MW. NTPC won 450 MW and Amp Energy won 120 MW of capacity. Under the bucket filling method, SJVN quoted Rs 2.54 per kWh for 200 MW but was only awarded 30 MW of capacity .

In September 2021, SECI awarded capacites to ReNew Power, Green Infra Wind Energy (Sembcorp), Anupavan Renewables (EverGreen), Adani Renewable Energy and Azure Power at its auction for 1,200 MW ISTS-connected wind power projects (Tranche-XI). ReNew Power, Green Infra Wind Energy and Anupavan Renewables won capacities of 300 MW, 180 MW and 150 MW respectively at a quoted tariff of Rs 2.69 per kWh. Adani Renewable Energy and Azure Power were awarded capacities of 450 MW and 120 MW at a quoted tariff of Rs 2.70 per kWh. The discovered L1 tariff of Rs 2.69 per kWh is nearly 2.9 per cent less than the L1 tariff discovered in SECI’s auction of 1200 MW of ISTS-connected wind project (Tranche-X) held in March 2021.
