Fortum wins 110 MW of solar and 823 MW of wind projects in Russia

Finnish energy developer Fortum has won a Russian Capacity Supply Agreement (CSA) auction to set up 110 MW of solar capacity.  In the same CSA auction, the Fortum-Rusnano wind investment fund, in which Fortum has 50 per cent ownership, won the contract to set up 823 MW of wind power capacity. For the solar project, Fortum will receive a guaranteed power price of Euro 150 per MWh, and for the wind power project, it will receive a guaranteed power price of Euro 60-Euro 90 per MWh for 15 years. Both projects are expected to be commissioned 2021-22.
