ABB India has won a contract to provide solar inverters at 750 railway stations in north India as a part of the rooftop solar installations being set up by Azure Power. The inverters, ranging from 5 kW to 50 kW according to site specifications, will support IR in its plan to increase the renewable energy generation capacity from 36 MW at present to 1,000 MW.
