Senvion received two contracts in Australia and the UK

Germany-based wind turbine manufacture Senvion has received two contracts in Australia and the UK. In Australia, it received a contract from Australia-based wind farm developer Pacific Hydro to supply, install and service 14 MM92 turbines at the Yaloak south wind farm near Ballan, Victoria. The 28.7 MW wind farm will produce enough electricity to power nearly 16,000 households. The installation of the turbines is likely to be completed by end-2017. In the UK, the company received a contract from Innogy Renewables UK Limited for the Mynyddy Gwair wind farm in South Wales. The order includes the supply of 16 Senvion MM92 wind turbines. Once operational, the project will have an installed capacity of 32.8 MW and will generate enough electricity to power more than 22,000 average UK households per annum. The installation and commissioning of the turbines will be completed by October 2018.
