ACEN India raises Rs 7.52 billion for 100 MW wind project in Karnataka

ACEN India, has raised Rs 7.52 billion from Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. The financing has been raised for the company’s 100 MW wind power project in Bijapur, Karnataka. 

The company has inked a power purchase agreement (PPA) with SJVN for the project, which is expected to be commissioned in 2027. It is projected to generate around 330 million units of clean energy annually.

Earlier in February 2026, ACEN, through its subsidiary ACEN Renewables International Pte. Ltd., completed the consolidation of its joint venture with UPC Renewables in India, resulting in full ownership of the platform.
